Hello

My name is Abby. I'm a graphic designer doing designer things in Waco, TX. Originally from Houston, I was raised to be creative, open-minded, outgoing and to do good. I went to school at Sam Houston State University where I got my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

From Huntsville, I scootched over to Waco, pre-Magnolia, and I’ve been doing designer things since! I worked at The Dwyer Group, which is now Neighborly Brands, for 5 years. I then moved into a less corporate designer role and found my current home with Hole in the Roof Marketing. I’ve been there since 2015 and love seeing the day-to-day variety of work that flows through. Seeing new Waco businesses grow from a creative point of view has been fun and seeing my work and little marks around town feels awesome. I also have taken on various freelance projects, some of which have continued to be great relationships for years!

My husband was born and raised in the Waco area so this is where we’ve decided to hang our hats for now. We thrive on our friend group who all have similar stories and have decided to do the same. Covid brought many downs but somehow we were sent the best little bidi girl we never knew we needed in 2021. Along with the other Rona Babes in our group we are growing our village and raising a new squad of tiny humans that we hope to shape into quality big humans. 

We celebrate and party hard for these kiddos and one another and it brings me so much joy to make special memories for each and every one of them. Even if it is over the top… at least we know we are over the top. I’ve always enjoyed using my creative capacities to grow professionally as well as personally. I love painting, designing, and DIYing my way through life. Being a mom now, I’ve discovered the importance of face time and I value the flexibility of not being behind a desk or stuck to a computer all the time. My hope is to continue to share my creativity with others in whatever aspect that might be and grow as a creator, mom and lady entrepreneur.
